Our Team Meet Our Executive Team Palash Nandy CEO Australia & New Zealand Palash Nandy CEO Australia & New Zealand As CEO, Palash drives Legrand ANZ to be more customer centric and continually improve efficiency in its operations. Aligning the entire organisation towards the stated objectives, he seeks to consolidate Legrand’s leadership position in ANZ by launching new products, targeting new market segments, and leading the transformation of the organisation. Articulate, committed and a team player, Palash is one of those rare people who can translate the organisation’s vision and strategies into tangible results. In his highly successful management career, he has been thoroughly respected for his unique leadership traits and global perspective. He has a reputation for managing diverse teams, incorporating the best practices, and encouraging cross-functional team participation. Palash also strongly believes in having fun at work. With a team of around 400 professionals at Legrand ANZ, Palash has been a guiding force and led them to generate business value for clients through reliable, cost-effective, and consistent high-quality products and solutions. Palash joined the Legrand Group as a Sales Executive, in 1990 and has grown through the ranks. He has held several positions in India and France across Sales, Marketing & Strategic Planning. He was the CEO of Numeric, a brand of Legrand, before his current assignment and prior to that held a position as the Group VP Strategic Planning, based in Paris. In his spare time, he loves listening to music and reading. He is also extremely passionate about new advances in the field of IoT and Digitalisation. Krishnan Ng Chief Financial Officer Krishnan Ng Chief Financial Officer As Chief Financial Officer at Legrand Australia and New Zealand, Krishnan provides financial direction and support for the company, with responsibilities and management tasks extending to the IT and purchasing sectors of Legrand. He is responsible for the analysing of the company’s financial strengths and weaknesses, while proposing strategic directions for company’s future. Krishnan holds a Bachelor of Commerce obtained from the University of Mumbai and has completed additional studies with India’s prestigious Institute of Chartered Accountants. Starting his career at Legrand India, he has held various CFO positions at Legrand subsidiaries across the globe, including the UK, Ireland and now Australia and New Zealand. Krishnan brings to the role over 25+ years of finance experience. Rina Tuioti Human Resources Director Australia & New Zealand Rina Tuioti Human Resources Director Australia & New Zealand As the HR Director of Australia and New Zealand, Rina’s responsibilities extend to ensuring that the human resources operation is carried out smoothly and effectively. Rina strives to plan, lead, direct, develop and coordinate company policies and activities, while ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the company’s mission and strategies. Supported by an experienced team of HR professionals, covering all aspects of the employee experience, she has a strong focus on the development, health and well-being of our people. Rina has a Bachelor of Business and post-graduate qualifications in Human Resources. Combining over 20 years’ experience in HR management, she has worked over a diverse range of companies and industries. Joining Legrand in 2016, Rina brings a passion for helping people create careers they love. Tosh Bourke Sales Director - Australia Tosh Bourke Sales Director - Australia As Sales Director of Legrand Australia, Tosh is driven by passion and experience for the industry. Leading 90 sales staff, he supports and directs both the Trade and Retail operation action plans for the companies two channels. Tosh continually strives to lead, engage and deliver his role to high standards to ensure Legrand continues its ongoing development. Tosh contributes over 20 years of invaluable sales, marketing and commercial management expertise. Joining our partnered brand HPM in 2001, he has worked across numerous divisions and positions. Tosh holds a Master’s in Business Administration, Master’s in International Management and brings over 30 years’ experience in the Electrical Industry. Paul Barron R&D Director Paul Barron R&D Director Behind the technology and design of Legrand’s ever-growing product range, Legrand’s Technical Director Paul supports our organisations research and development team, electrical safety compliance, standardisation and intellectual policy. Paul determines, implements and monitors strategies to ensure the delivery of Legrand’s commercial objectives. Bringing to Legrand over 27 years of technical experience, Paul has a vast background in building automation and connected devices. He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at the University of New South Wales and Masters of Engineering at University of Technology, Sydney. Fabienne Herault Marketing Director Fabienne Herault Marketing Director As Marketing Director of Legrand Australia, Fabienne’s responsibilities ensure the company continually improves and maintains its market share. Fabienne oversees and performs research and analysis into ongoing market trends, as well as monitors roadmaps, brand strategy and business opportunities. She is inextricably involved in the execution of the brands branding techniques and marketing campaigns. With a career spanning over 20 years with the Legrand Group, Fabienne brings a wealth of knowledge to the Australian and New Zealand teams. Fabienne started with sales in France, followed by multiple positions in marketing, including a position of team manager in the Electrical Infrastructure SBU. After 4 years as marketing manager in Morocco, Fabienne joined the Australian and New Zealand team in 2022. Daniel Vega Head of Operations Daniel Vega Head of Operations As the Head of Operations for Legrand Australia, Daniel is in charge of the entire Supply Chain for the company. He leads a team of over 150 people across Planning, Production, Maintenance, Methods engineering and Warehouse areas. Daniel is responsible for defining the Industrial - Purchasing Plan, working together with other departments to ensure strategies are in-sync to allow for customer expectations, as well as internal goals and objectives to be met. Having been with the Legrand Group for over 20 years, Daniel brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. Before moving to Legrand Australia, he started his Group career as part of the R&D and Methods team in Legrand Mexico. Over the years, he grew through the ranks, managed different areas and teams and also lead numerous exciting projects such as the shutdown and production transfer of three factories across Latin America to Legrand Mexico. Now, in his position at Legrand Australia, Daniel and the Methods engineers utilise the Legrand Way principles and tools to strive towards continuous improvement, Industry 4.0 and IoT adoption at Legrand ANZ, in an effort to keep up with the digital world. Daniel studied Industrial Systems Engineering at Tech de Monterrey, the leading technical University in Mexico and Latin America. He also holds a Masters in Manufacturing Management from Linköping University, Sweden. With additional qualifications and diplomas in Industry 4.0, IoT from the University of Sydney, and Lean Manufacturing from Utah State University. Jeff Butler Country Manager New Zealand Jeff Butler Country Manager New Zealand As New Zealand’s Country Manager, Jeff fulfils the responsibility of ensuring the management and proper execution of the launch and development of local Legrand services and product offerings within NZ. Overseeing product offerings, Jeff monitors products from production to the marketing distribution stage. Leading both New Zealand subsidiaries Legrand and Trical, Jeff manages and leads approximately 105 employees. Jeff holds over 33 years of experience within the electrical industry, with numerous senior positions and 19 years amongst electrical wholesaling and 15 years with suppliers. Jeff joined Legrand 13 years ago to assume his current role and the responsibility of P&L in NZ. Discontent with making purely functional products, we aim to set the benchmark for both technological innovation and inspirational design of everyday items, boosting the profile of modern electrical systems within both the Trade and Consumer sectors.
